I definitely do not expect to be embraced.
I've met some Democratic leadership and they don't seem interested in elevating Black men, especially Foundational Black Indigenous American men. Let alone, a 6"1 Black father with dreadlocs from the West End of Plainfield, raised by activist freedom fighters. I am a political outsider that found my stride in ministry, civil rights, and Financial Technology.
Dr. King's Letter from Birmingham Jail discussed the dangers of lukewarm moderates, which encompasses the modern day corporate Democrat establishment.
I think Democrats may mean well, but don't care enough about outcomes. They have to know the problems we face in NJ, but have accepted we are the permanent underclass
The Democrat party has failed us. I don't believe in them. I don't expect them to believe in us.
My message is bigger than a Party. I believe in Freedom. I believe in the people. I believe in families. I believe the 2 party system in and of itself is stifling. I have seen that the uniparty sustains social dysfunction, the breakdown of families, and an insane wealth gap.
The narrative of socialism vs capitalism requires the belief that any system in and of itself is pure. Right now, we socialize losses/risk, and privatize gains. New industries like crypto are seen as enemies of the progressive Left, when radical digital solutions such as Web 3 must be democratized for all to eliminate disparities.
I believe in the most high, myself, and us. As long as we believe, we win together.
